What the app stores

Price Pal stores the items, purchase amounts, dates, store names, notes, tags, currency settings, and exchange rates you enter in its on-device database. These records are used to show your purchase history and calculate price comparisons.

The app does not send these records to us. It has no developer-operated backend, account system, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, or cross-app tracking in this release.

Backups and sharing

You can export your records as a JSON backup and choose where to save or share it. Your chosen storage or sharing provider handles that copy under its own practices. Device backups may also be managed by Apple according to your device settings.

Price Pal does not provide automatic synchronization between devices. Restoring a backup replaces the app’s current records.

Managing your records

You can delete purchases and items in the app. Copies you export remain wherever you save or share them. Deleting records in Price Pal does not delete exported files, copies shared with others, or copies retained in device backups.

Because we do not receive your app records, we cannot retrieve them for you or delete copies stored on your device or with your chosen provider.

When you contact support

If you email pricepal@kritkrm.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond to your request and address the issue. Email is processed by the email services used to send and receive the message.

Avoid sending private purchase records unless needed to explain your issue. You can contact the same address to ask about or request deletion of support correspondence. Any retention needed to handle an ongoing issue or meet applicable obligations will be explained in response to your request.

This website

These information pages do not add analytics scripts, advertising, cookies, or browser storage. The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which receives technical request information needed to serve and protect the website. Website hosting is separate from the app’s on-device purchase records.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if Price Pal’s data practices change. Future features such as account sign-in or analytics are not part of the release described here and will require updated disclosures before they are introduced.
